Reza Rezvani joined Asta & Associates as a personal injury attorney in 2013, where he has continued his dedication to helping people who have suffered life-altering injuries obtain justice against those trying to avoid responsibility for their actions. Mr. Rezvani achieves winning results by combining relentless preparation with his outstanding trial skills.
He has successfully handled hundreds of cases – from the preparation stage to negotiation and settlement and successfully conducted over 40 jury trials, earning him a remarkable reputation as a skilled trial lawyer.
Some of Mr. Rezvani’s recent litigation accomplishments include settlements of $2,200,000; $1,400,000; and $950,000 for his clients. He has been recognized by a nationally renowned Federal Judge who stated on the record that Mr. Rezvani’s closing argument was one of the best that the Judge had heard in a “long, long time.”
Prior to joining Asta & Associates, Mr. Rezvani started his own law firm as an attorney championing all types of personal injury and civil rights cases, including construction accidents, premises accidents, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, false arrest, and excessive force by members of the police department. His litigation success resulted in verdicts that were selected as “notable verdicts” by the New York Law Journal.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Rezvani has worked for the law firm of Flomenhaft & Cannata where he represented clients in traumatic brain injury lawsuits for a wide range of neurological disorders, and at the law firm of Levine & Grossman, one of the oldest and well-respected law firms representing injured people on Long Island.
Mr. Rezvani received his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University in 1998 and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2001. He is licensed to practice law in Federal and State Courts in New York.
Currently, Mr. Rezvani serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law, where he teaches trial skills to law students in Fordham’s Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Program. In addition, he has given presentations at national academic conferences such as the Association of American Law Schools Conference on Clinical Education on effective methods to teach law students how to prepare complex cases for trial.
